Investors
Appellate Agents is an early-stage company. We are building deliberately, in close consultation with the practitioners who use the platform, and we are open to outside investment from partners whose horizons match our own.
Investment is open to all. We do not have a fixed profile in mind and welcome inquiries from across the seed and early-growth landscape — institutional funds, family offices, and individuals alike. We are interested in capital partners who understand long-cycle craft businesses and are willing to back deliberate, user-led development rather than top-of-funnel growth.
We especially welcome investors with direct expertise in appellate practice — appellate attorneys, former clerks, and partners at firms with established appellate groups. The platform is built around the conventions of that work, and partners who have spent time on the briefs themselves bring a perspective and a network we value.
Beta access for investors
During the current invitation-only beta, active seats on the platform are extended to investors in the company and to a small number of advisors with appellate-practice expertise. Investing is therefore the most direct path to early access while general licensing remains closed.
Per-seat licensing terms — usage-based, individually-tied, non-transferable — apply to investor seats and will continue when general licensing opens. Full licensing detail is on the access page.
Demonstrations
Live demonstrations are available to prospective investors and to attorneys with appellate-practice experience considering an advisory engagement. Sessions run by video, walk through the typical research-and-drafting workflow on a sample matter, and leave time for questions.
